Illamasqua Beguile Pure Pigment – Review
The pigment comes housed in a small jar which has the signature Illamasqua shape. It doesn’t come with a sifter but the lid seals the opening when you place the lid. The packaging isn’t the best for a loose pigment, something screw on with a sifter would have been better in my opinion. Coming to the pigment itself, its a very fine powder that feels very smooth and non-gritty on the skin. Beguile was very difficult to photograph because the pink and green reflections just don’t get captured easily on the camera. You can use it alone to add some light and reflection to any part of the face. I like to use this in the inner corner as well all over the lid over a lighter color eye shadow. It brings pale grey and taupe eye shadows to life by adding a beautiful highlight. The pigment adheres well to the skin and you don’t need to use a glue or adhesive to make it last. Its not super densely packed, more like a loose shimmer so you can completely tailor the kind of look you want. Overall, its a really nice, versatile product to have in your kit.
The only drawback is the price and availability of Illamasqua products in India. The price tag is a bit high and coupled with the shipping and custom charges, it comes out to be quite heavy on the pocket!
